Broncos over Ravens – I like the Ravens. They’ve got at least 2 hall of famers on defense. They’ve been pretty banged-up throughout the season and are re-energized by Ray Lewis. However, the Broncos also play great defense. And they have Peyton Manning. I think this one will be surprisingly high scoring.
Patriots over Texans – As a rule, I generally try to avoid picking against Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. The Texans have a better defense, but I think the Patriots are just too much. Especially this time of year. They will be the best prepared. And with a Pats win, we get to see Manning-Brady ’12.
Seahawks over Falcons – I watched the Falcons play Detroit in-person at Ford Field. Matty Ice is good. The rest of the Falcons are pretty good. But I think they’re in trouble against Seattle. Seattle is brutal on D. Russel Wilson is a true playmaker. I wouldn’t bet this game, but I like Seattle to win.
Packers over Niners – The Niners have a much better defense and run game. To me, that usually means wins. However, I think The Pack is getting healthy and hitting their stride at the right time. This should be an exciting game. In the end, I think GB is just too much. But not by much.
